Deacon -Dennis Dirks
Deacon Dennis was born and raised in Wisconsin. He graduated with from Concordia University St. Paul with a BA in Elementary Education (with a concentration of math and science) in 1971. In 1982, he earned his Master’s degree in School Administration and Curriculum from Mankato State University. He served as a LCMS teacher for 8 years (Janesville, MN), and a LCMS principal for 32 years at Lutheran Schools in Minnesota and California (Sauk Rapids, MN; Wayzata, MN; Rochester, MN; Lancaster, CA; Livermore, CA). At the age of 60, he enrolled in the Cross Cultural Ministry seminary program working toward ordination and a Masters of Theology. (This program is a non-traditional approach where students serve as a vicar within their parish for four years while taking classes on-line during the school year and on-campus each summer.) This course of study was interrupted when the pastor left and Dennis “stepped in” to lead the congregation during an interim period. As a result, Dennis remains a few classes from graduation. Dennis and his wife, Lynn (also a LCMS elementary teacher) both “retired” in 2014 after serving in Livermore, CA for 15 years. They have been married for 43 years and moved to Maricopa to be closer to grandchildren. Dennis and Lynn have two adult children, Jonathan and Susan, and three grandchildren. Dennis enjoys woodworking, reading, and wine tasting.
Contemporary Music Ministry - Jay Vallee
Born in Idaho, and raised in the northwest US and western Canada, Jay was educated in Mathematics and Chemistry at Western Washington University and received his MDiv. from Regent College in Vancouver, B.C. He has served in full-time ministry through a variety of capacities and pastoral roles since 2009, leading Children’s, Youth, Adult, and Music Ministries at Cascade Christian Center before relocating to Arizona at the end of 2018. Jay and Angela, now celebrating ten years of marriage, are blessed with three children, Seth, Noah, and Scarlett. Jay enjoys hiking, camping, hunting, and hockey along with having a passion for music, writing songs, and leading worship.

Office Manager - Ana Mollet
Ana Mollet is the church's Administrative Assistant. She attended Bible Baptist College in Springfield, MO for about a year and a half studying business and education. She has also taken a few courses in computers and most recently received certification in Simultaneous Translation, English to Spanish and vice versa. Ana enjoys being able to communicate in her native tongue, Spanish. She's been married 18 years to her wonderful husband, John. They have three kids: Ben, Jerry & Kimmie. Ana enjoys being involved in her home church, and volunteer teaches in the children's ministries. She also helps out with the AWANA program that teaches kids to know, love and serve God.
Business Manager/HR Administrator - Jerry Rieck
Please welcome our new Business Manager, Jerry Rieck, who begins in January! Jerry is a fellow Lutheran, recently relocated to AZ from South Dakota. He is a CPA with extensive experience in public accounting, insurance accounting, banking, and finance, and has served other organizations and his church as treasurer in his previous location. Jerry holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management and has completed several classes toward his Masters of Business Administration degree. He will be working with our current business manager, Peggy Hoover, to learn her job, and gradually take over her role as she winds down and prepares to leave us this spring! Welcome Jerry!
Public Relations Media Specialist - Naomi Walsworth
Naomi was born in Africa and spent much of her childhood in the Philippines. After more than 30 years in Alaska, she convinced her husband to move somewhere warm! She is a registered nurse, with 30+ years spent providing patient care, most recently managing the health services department of the Kenai Peninsula School District (the size of Kentucky), as well as providing education/training in a variety of health care settings. As a mom to four, she's volunteered in just about every capacity, and is excited to become a grandmother in the near future. She loves to cook and create new meals, and enjoys quilting, teaching Sunday school and singing in the church choir. She looks forward to creating new ways of sharing Trinity's vision and mission with Casa Grande and beyond!
TLC Preschool Interim Director - Charlie Walsworth
Mr. Charlie was born and raised in Olympia, WA. After receiving his BA in Education, he moved to Alaska to drive tour buses, then began a career as a teacher and stayed in Alaska for almost 30 years, where he taught Resource Room, Physical Education and Special Education and coached lots of sports. He received his Masters Degree in School Administration, and then became an elementary school principal. After working in schools for more than 20 years, he retired to try something new, working for Court Services with the Alaska State Troopers. After retiring again, he and his wife moved to Arizona. Since living here, he's tested out several careers, most recently working for Alaska Airlines. Now he's back to what he loves--serving children and families and sharing his love for education. In his spare time, he loves music, tennis, and all sorts of sports, and keeps busy with church activities. He has four sons and one granddaughter.
TLC Preschool 4s Teacher - Rahberta Estrada
Miss Rahberta has lived in Casa Grande her whole life and has been part of the TLC family for the last three years with five years experience before joining us. Miss Rahberta is continuing her education at Central Arizona College to receive A.A. in Early Childhood Education. In December of 2015, she was blessed with a beautiful baby girl; they were both baptized in the Christian Faith at Trinity Lutheran Church. She spends her free time outside with her family going to the park or playing ball.
TLC Preschool 3s Teacher - Maria Estrella
Maria has been blessed to be involved with TLC Preschool on and off for several years, working as an assistant, a lead teacher and now as a substitute as she cares for her youngest son while he's still at home. She has 9+ years of experience and an A.A. in Elementary Education. Ms. Maria is fluent in Spanish, has lived in Casa Grande almost her entire life, and enjoys being outdoors hiking, rock climbing, and just being in nature.
TLC Preschool Enrichment Teacher - Desiree Enriquez
Miss Desiree is a native to Casa Grande. She has two brothers and one sister, she enjoys spending time with her family. Desiree was baptized into the Christian faith in April 2017. She has always enjoyed working with children and holds an AA degree in Early Childhood Education.
TLC Preschool Teaching Assistant - Felicity Gabaldon
Miss Felicity was born and raised in Casa Grande. She has a younger brother and older sister. Miss Felicity is taking classes at Central Arizona College to receive her Associate of Arts in Early Childhood Education, and eventually aiming for her Master's Degree. She loves spending time with children. She loves to spend her free time with her family.
TLC Preschool Teaching Assistant - Heidi Wolf
Ms. Heidi was born in Minneapolis, MN. She received a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Master’s degree in Business Psychology. After Graduate school she became the Director of an Elementary Before and After School Program. She then was an HR Manager which moved her to Arizona. She moved to Casa Grande in 2015 and became a stay at home mom to three amazing kids. Now that her kids are older it was time for her to get back into the workforce and still have time to handle their busy schedule!
TLC Preschool Teaching Assistant - Maryln Walston
Maryln Walston was born and raised in the most picturesque area on a farm in Northern Idaho north of Bonners Ferry. She knew at a young age of her love of children and helping them as she could. Maryln graduated from San Francisco City College with an AA degree. She worked at Early Head Start in Libby, MT., (by Glacier Park) as a teacher for 6 week old babies to 3 year old children. Her husband Dean is a retired Montana Highway Patrolman. Maryln loves to go jogging, golfing, walking her dog Grace and doing anything outdoors in God's great miracle of nature. Her time with children is so precious to her and her goal is to help as much as she can to nurture a young child in the path to Salvation and to encourage their self esteem and self worth.

Krystle Lopez has been blessed with the opportunity to work with TLC preschool on and off for the last 6 years, with 8 years of childcare experience . She has been a member of Trinity Lutheran Church for almost 10 years now and enjoys her journey of continued growing faith. Krystle was born and raised in Manhattan, Illinois and has spent time living in North Carolina, Iowa and Mazatlan, Mexico. She has three children and is about to celebrate her 10-year anniversary with her husband. In her spare time she enjoys going on adventures with her family like camping, hiking and anything outdoors. She also enjoys cooking and writing.

My name is Laura Gilloon and I am a Arizona native. This is my first year working at TLC preschool and very excited! I graduated from ASU in 2008 with a bachelors degree in secondary Art education. I have been happily married for 10 years and have three amazing children, one currently in the program and one 'graduate' of TLC.. I love working with children and I believe every child has a unique learning style pace. I enjoy cooking, reading and spending time with my family and friends.

Miss Colleen is originally from Indiana. She moved to Casa Grande where she met her husband, Tracey, who is also from Indiana. Her love and want for children led her to foster and adopt 4 beautiful kids. After 13 years of marriage and all the kids in school she started working for TLC Preschool.

Miss Paizlie was born and raised in Casa Grande. She has one older brother. Miss Paizlie is a senior in high school and is heading over to Central Arizona College after graduation to start her Early Childhood Education program. With her free time she loves to spend time with friends and family.
